These two points represent probably about 10 hours worth of walking. That’s ok though because I think the thrill of the hunt is better than actually finding the artifacts!
These two points were found within three feet of each other in the same rock bar. They were found between floods so there was movement that washed the second one in. I think they are karnaks. Who knows, they might have been made by the same person?
Also, what does bi beveled mean? The book said karnaks are usually bi beveled. I’m assuming that means beveled on both sides but do you see how the bevels on one point are on opposite sides of the cross section and make sort of a spiral? Does that mean it’s bi beveled or does bi bevel just mean on both sides?
On another note, I got totally fooled this morning by this rock! I even did my happy dance because I thought I found a grooved axe!!
