I found these two items at an abandoned field from the early 1700's to the late 1800's.
The first item appears to either be a part of a candle holder or a candle snuffer. If it is a candle snuffer it would've likely had a wooden end attached to it. It has a diameter of 24 mm (1 inch), weighs 22 grams and is made out of a copper alloy.
The second item is a really curious one. It is a band with two layers of glass sheets in it with a tiny iron thing in the middle. My first guess was that it could be a part of a rifle scope but I really don't know for sure. The diameter of it is 18 mm (0.7 inch), the thickness 6.3 mm (0.25 inches) and it weighs 3.75 grams.
If you have any clue or suggestion about what these items could be please let me know!
