Well, after much-ado my 2018 season is over :tongue3:

The weather held off just enough for me to trudge through the cold, wet and ice (and occasional spot of sunshine) almost everyday. I should have stayed home on the 31st but the freezing down-pour of rain wasn't gonna stop me from one last chance in 2018 to dig up a few more screw-tops :laughing7:

Anyway, these are my finds from the last 3 weeks of 2018. All of this (except the quarter) came from the same park I've been hunting.

1923 Michigan chauffeurs license

1927 Charles Lindbergh token. Working on cleaning it....

Silver ring-slaw. Braided part was on top the other.
They became separated when I attempted to hammer them back into shape.

I suspect this was an old pin but I can't really see where it was attached.

Had a great 3rd year of detecting! Found more this past year than my first two years combined. 2018 produced 66 pieces of silver (49 coins) and many firsts for me!

:occasion14:

Thanks for looking !

Nice bunch of keepers for the 3 weeks you suffered in the cold and rain. I really think the chauffeur's license is a super find. I found a California one last week.

Very nice....neighbor!

Yeah, I am very pleased the Chauffeur's license too! I dug it up at night and couldn't tell what it was in the dark. It was a nice surprise when I got home :icon_thumright:

Just another note on the license. They probably had to be at least 21 for the license so the guy was probably born around 1902.

Thanks Tommy !

Ann Arbor looks like it would be a fun place to detect!

Hi, wow nice finds. Congrats:occasion14: I love the chauffeurs license and the silver ring with the blue stone

Very Nice... a handful of keepers like that is what drives us, to keep going, when the weather isn't so cooperative. Congrats to you Mister.

40 silvers is very good in Michigan (at least by my standards :laughing7: ) Like the badge.
