Well, after much-ado my 2018 season is over
The weather held off just enough for me to trudge through the cold, wet and ice (and occasional spot of sunshine) almost everyday. I should have stayed home on the 31st but the freezing down-pour of rain wasn't gonna stop me from one last chance in 2018 to dig up a few more screw-tops
Anyway, these are my finds from the last 3 weeks of 2018. All of this (except the quarter) came from the same park I've been hunting.
1923 Michigan chauffeurs license
1927 Charles Lindbergh token. Working on cleaning it....
Bell Traders Navajo silver ring
Small Police button
Silver ring-slaw. Braided part was on top the other.
They became separated when I attempted to hammer them back into shape.
I suspect this was an old pin but I can't really see where it was attached.
Had a great 3rd year of detecting! Found more this past year than my first two years combined. 2018 produced 66 pieces of silver (49 coins) and many firsts for me!
Thanks for looking !
