A new shopping center is going in so the lovely stone cottage built in the 1940's must go. (Like we really need a new shopping center) Anyhow, I got permission to detect the property before the demolition started. Today I found these two hiding under a root together. 1918s and 1919s

Previous finds included a 1942 Washington and two 1942 Mercury dimes. (Not pictured, sorry)

My favorite find was this 1917 US National Guard Collar Disk. (thanks DCMatt and TheCannonballGuy for help identifying)

Congratz on some great finds! Keep looking, don't let them bury any coins!

Well done on the silvers. I like the collar disc too. I found a couple of them. My favorite is this artillery one... anything with crossed cannons on it is bound to be good!

Best of luck to you sir!
