Interesting idea. Just looked at some wood stove eye lifters. Definitely a possibility. Its crude compared to the others but maybe hand made.

With two mounting holes in it, I don't think it is a grate/plate lifter. It appears as if one end has been broken off, but I imagine it looked like the other end, although that end also appears to be broken. My guess is that it is the remains of a tie-down cleat, something similar to this one:

The longer item might have been a hoof pick minus a wooden handle.

Window latch makes more sense — I missed the coin for scale. (The shape does look like a lid lifter, but that would be awful small for that.)

Well it wouldn’t, unless it was intended to have a longer wooden handle attached. I didn’t see the second hole so went back and looked again, but I think you’re right that there is one. Hard to see even zoomed in on my phone. (Don’t have my computer at the moment.)
