Dug these from a mid 1800s house site in the rurals. They are both solid brass. The one that looks like an ear wax scooper outer appears to have been bent then bent back and has evidence that the base may have had an iron attachment point. Almost reminds me of a door stop.
The large one has no evidence of break from anything and I'm wondering if it was inserted into something with the smaller end, maybe for horse gear for farming?
