Has there ever been a dollar bill produced with both Washington and Lincoln's portrait on it? I know a 77 year old man that says he has one. He got it from the bank he worked at many, many years ago. It was in a deposist from a foreign bank.
However, it is in New Jersey and we are in Georgia. He said he would try to bring it back the next time he goes there.

What denomination and issue (series) date is on his bill?
Don.....

I am not sure and the bill is not where we can check it. It could be a Lincoln/Grant. Any info on them?

if it's a "Dollar Bill"

it would not have Lincoln / Grant

& Be real. Washington would be on at leat one side.

Washington and Lincoln as you originaly said,
Although still Suspicious to me, would make
more sense

1899 Silver Certificate

"Giant "Horse Blanket" Black Eagle Note!
Nicknamed for their size (25% larger than our current dollar bill), this 1899 $1 Black Eagle Silver Certificate prominently displays an eagle with his wings spread printed in black ink on the obverse. This is the only piece in U.S. currency ever issued which displays the portraits of 2 different presidents--Lincoln and Grant--two Giants of 19th century American history."

The 2008 Red Book (retail) notes 13 varieties of this bill. The values range from $125 (VG-8) to $10,000 (Unc-63-- for the bill with Vernon and McClung signatures). The date will be either above the serial number or to the right of the seal. If you tell me the names of the two signatories, I'll tell you what this Red Book states as its retail value two years ago.

The owner is going back north in the next few weeks and will get all the info from it. He did tell me it was framed but still in poor shape.

I have one that I bought three years ago It is a one dollar series 2006 and has a faint picture of Abe Lincoln $5 dollar frame in reverse on the back. I would sell if the price was right?

Wondering why there hasn't been much response to the $1/$5 bill? Is this a Photoshop job and I just don't know enough about currency to tell? I imported it into Photoshop and the righthand border suggests the flattening of two transparencies. Ld: can't tell if you're joking or if this is the real deal. Thanks.
