Found my first buffalo nickel yesterday on a trail in the woods. While wandering around I also found my first garnet filled boulder! (too heavy to carry back to my truck ☹️). Also dug a broken pick axe. On the way home there were pheasants everywhere!

That boulder sure would look good in the ole rock garden. Cool stuff!

You may know this, but for others who may not, the 1936-D
Buffalo has a a variety known as the "3 & 1/2 legged Buffalo". It has a greater value than the well-known 1937-D 3 legged variety. Check the reverse side for the "D" & the
3 & 1/2 legs. See link below. Good luck & thanks for the nice pics.
