Two firsts for me!!!

Hi All,

I joined last year but I have not really posted my finds as much as I should have been.... Going to change that this year...

Well, two days ago I finally found my first 1800s coin, it was an 1880 penny, about 2 inches down. Found it with my Garrett ultra 350gta which I have been using for over a year.... Later that day I was planning on buying a Whites MXT and I think my garrett was trying to make a last ditch effort to change my mind but I really never found any coin over 4 inches with it...

Anyway, I did buy the MXT and got a chance to use it today and found my first Silver quater at 6 inches. It is a very nice 1891 S (could not have been an O, of course.. Oh well!!) Both of these coins came from an old park in San Rafael (I have found a 1901 penny, 1911 dime, and a 1917 dime there already)...
