Through countless miles of trecking through the deep mountains of eastern Kentucky this summer I can say with out a doubt I’m more than ready for this humidity to go away, the leaves to fall, and the snakes and bugs to head back to the hole they came from. My two favorite finds of this year so far are my chunk of platinum ore( hopefully) and the piece I dug out from an overhang /cave on the side of mountain yesterday. Definitely the result of smelting operation. Possibly from an old civil war soldier getting his bullets ready for the next battle, possible runoff from JSWIFTS furnace and a big chunk of silver missed the mold. Either way I need some help identifying . 0E3B0D44-08D2-4C46-B1C5-811B93218C59.jpegView attachment 1860764707F6487-FFE5-480F-84C7-F2A2DB2DA87A.jpeg

Good morning Johnathan.
The first item pictured could be iron ore slag or even melted lead mixed with tin from a CW campfire trash. :icon_scratch:
