When I found the first 1968 dime, I muttered "shoot, why couldn't it be the silver version?!". Then just a few feet away I found another 1968 dime...I guess I got my wish because this one is silver lol! In 1968 Canada switched to 50/50 silver/copper, then to 99.9 nickel later in the year. This is my 40th silver coin for the year, only 10 more to reach my goal of 50 before snow flies.

Isn't it amazing how pretty the silver version looks compared to the newer one? Great finds!

I wasn't thinking in Canadian if the were u.s. coins you would really be in the money!!!!!!! Congrats
 

Sweet digs, I set that same goal of 50 for the year, although I count my silver non coin items as well, hey silver is silver Im At 39 coins 2 rings, 2 cufflinks, 2 pins, and 1 earring
