I just switched from my stock etrac coil, to the 12x8 Platypus, and decided to challenge it at a heavy hit section of my old homesite spot. I have only gotten one coin out of here so far and it was far away from where I had been hunting, figured that's where they were all gonna be...but just for the challenge of it I started where I have cleaned out the relics and only get nails and other iron trash now, an area I have hit with multiple machine/coil combos.

Now I'm not gonna say I may not have bypassed a signal with the Etrac or other machines and coils, but the Platypus made it obvious I needed to dig. Anyway enough gushing. Last evening: 1804 Bust Half Cent, which naturally kicked my butt into gear to go back this morning, and out comes a 1767(? to the best of my remaining date mark interpretation) King George II half cent.
