it looks like you have a site with pretty good potential there.

Nice site Chris :icon_thumleft: go get some more :laughing7:. One of the fields I looked at today had been deep plowed and there were hundreds of old broken bottles and porcelain jars, I might go back tomorrow for a look see  HH mate

Congrats on your finds Chris!
Love the look of those old clear bottles! :notworthy:

If I'd found those in the ground up here, the clear ones would be 'sick' with glass disease! :'(
That's what happens when the glass turns cloudy and starts to 'break down' from being buried
in the ground too long. No amount of cleaning can restore the glass either! :(

Take care man,
Dave

I'm curious, what city or town is stamped on the bottom of that coke bottle?

I have one sitting on my shelf right now that was made in my hometown of Eastman, GA.. It was hand blown and instead of a patent number it has a date. December 25, 1923
The Coke museum offered me 5$ for it, I politely told them where they could insert said Coke bottle. It was found in the woods in a bottle dump as well, along with an old style brown glass Orange Crush bottle. Both undamaged.
