Spent a couple days on the Route 11 yard Crawl in Virginia...roughly 50 miles of sales...many dealers but plenty of "regular" sales as well.
Traffic is hectic and there is no way you can do the whole thing.
I tried this year to keep it cheap and have fun...and I did.
First a Weber kettle in red...I'm a Weber freak but all my grills 11+ are black.
$5 (Keeping)
Various Perfume and a box of older Tops papers $5 the "Shall I" perfume is used but seem pretty rare.
West Bend copper mugs set of eight $8 these do well, surprsingly
Older Radio Shack remote control trucks, S&P grinders (england) Leather belt (not sure if toy or not) $4 all
Assorted 1970's-early 1980's Halloween masks / costumes. $10
Jaws (like Billy Bass Fish) Animated toy, two boxes assorted 1970's-early 1980's cereal prizes (sealed)$12 all
Tonka Fire Truck $10 (keeping)
Movie "Lobby Cards" 1950's...Sony Handi Cam 0 Lux (sell very well for ghost hunters) came with lots of stuff. Ruger 44 box $12 all
German Bino's (who knows) 50cents
Filson Mackinaw (really nice shape) sell well...wish it fit $3
Tyco slot cars (57 Chevy is most promising) $5, bag Seiko watches $1, 3.9oz sterling ID braclets $8, SS horn cover $3, Benchmade Knife older NIB sell for about two hundred $5 Oakley Whiskers .25 cents, and the Seiko clock .50 cents
Got some more stuff but kind of shot from the two days.
All in all happy with the results.
