That harmonica is way cool! Nice batch of some fun goodies!

Nice finds, good work.

Those are some off the wall finds. That Tom Mix magnifier is super cool. Any idea what the Ralston piece is? :icon_scratch:
Congrats,
MM

I like em' all and the annoying ghosts at that town may want their stuff back , :occasion18:

well not really, but it would create a weird , spooky supernatural story !

Awesome goodies!

Wow usually just the reeds are found, not whole harmonicas, nice find!

Thanks!
Every thing in that pic. Was (at one time) connected. The magnifying glass was folded away and protected by the two brass covers (zoom in and look at the detail, super cool) the hole in one of the covers held the small circle part which was the compass. You can still see N. S. E and W in the hole.
It was a kids toy that went along with early 1920-30's cowboy radio show.

WHAT KIDS TOY NOW DAYS WOULD LAST ALMOST 100 years buried in ground?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1385014036.695086.jpg

Yeah. I found it along an old abandoned water flume. (Supplied water to old (long gone) mining town.

Well away from the iron infested homesite areas. So the nice high signal was a welcomed surprise to me. (Got to tell ya..... Got down to about six inches and when I saw the brass cover and its detail I was thinking TREASURE BOX!!!
Not at all disappointed though ;)

I like to imagine the circumstance in which this was lost!?
Maybe it belonged to the supervisor of the flume being dug (Chinese) and the workers buried it so not to be serenaded by their boss's horrible harp playing???

Lol
That's why I never watch those spooky movies!

Wife wanted me to watch "the conjuring" ..no flipping way!
I enjoy outdoors at night. Metal detecting, mountain biking etc. and that would ruin me.

Yeah. I could see a Steven king movie already....
Husband brings old harp and relics home.
Cleaned them up and blew into harp and summoned up some spooky s#!+

Ok.... I'm scaring myself now
