Twas the weeks before Christmas, when all through the Illinois house
No one was calling for impeachment, not even Reverend Al;
The wire tapes were placed by the FBI with care,
In hopes that Blagojevich soon would talk, that was there dare;
The Blagojevich children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of selling a senate seat danced in Blago's head;
And mamma in her garter and stockings, and him in his Nike running suit,
Unaware they placed a tap on his home phone , too
When from the telephone arose such a clatter,
He sprang from the bed to answer it to see what was the matter.
On the other end was U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald with a --deleted-- eating grin,
He said the FBI was their and that he should let them in.
Blago retorted "Is this a joke?"
Fitzgerald told reporters "auction off to the seat to highest bidder"that was his hope,
He said the alleged behavior "would make (Abe) Lincoln roll over in his grave.",
After his arrest a statement he never gave,
It took 10 days for 'I Will Be Vindicated' that was his take,
We all knew in a moment it must be trick.
This douche bag was crocked, it made all of us sick,
As the Democrats and Republicans screamed for his resignation,
It cast a terrible light on Illinois from the entire world and nation

Barack Obama's statement 'I Was Not Aware'!
The president-elect was "saddened" by the actions of our evil criminal governor !
From the 76-page FBI affidavit accusations would fly,
They mentioned Jesse Jackson Jr. identified as Senate Candidate No. 5,
So up to the court house JJJ flew with lawyer in tow,
Reportedly he was an informant for a decade, too.
