Twas a M6 day here and family suprised me too

First, I decided to take out my M6... I only lasted an hour due to my arm but I found 40 coins in one hr. at the closed down bar I had previously hunted.. so, I will continue to go there till I get em all. all regular clad this trip..but hey, thats ok as it all adds up.. and I am going to use my M6 more as it seems I find more coins with that machine then the dfx.. will just use the dfx on the beach for now..

PLUS... I got me a new baby... a baby parotlette, not sure of its sex yet as its very young, but I love those birds, its the smallest parrot in the world, it can talk, but it is unable to scream or screetch, its considered the perfect parrot for apt. dwellers due to that.. These birds are smaller then a parakeet and funny as the dickens.. so this was a super suprise for me.. now I am thrilled, got my cockatiel whose starting to talk now and now the parotlette.. course I have my dogs too n cats so am thrilled with my new addition that was a total suprise for me, a early valentines day present ... I am so lucky to have my family thats helping me thru all this medical crap I am going thru..

so dats it gang...

I'll have to think on that one. It will have to be unisex. The old timers around here say the way to sex a baby chick is to hold it in your hand on it's back. If the legs bend its a female and if the legs stay straight up it is a male. Sounds like ego mumbo jumbo to me but what the heck it might be true.

Looks like you had a good day! Love the new baby! I used to raise Pocket Parrots. Love them to pieces. They are the sweetest and funniest little birds. They adore lots of attention and kisses! Good luck with him/her. BTW....as the little one matures...if it's a male, it should started getting a blue spot on the side of his head and a tad on the wing, that's if he's a Pacific Parrotlet.

wohooo thank you Moonshadow, boy ..means good talker..yesssssssss I just adore him.. I have never heard em called pocket parrots lol cute thou..and makes sense..

My daughter n hubby had him in the house when I got back from detecting.. cupped in her hands... so now I have him and my male pearl cockatiel.. I used to bred tiels..but not anymore..and I didnt want a breeding pair of parotlettes as they arent friendly breeding pairs..

My cages hang from the ceiling... the cats try. but one got the tip of his ear bit off by my tiel.. so now the cats leave em alone...lol

alfonzo, have had the m6... just hadnt used it since I got the dfx..frankly I prefer the m6.. and Ivan.. yep got the hang of it too and found nickels too...yes sir ree bob
