Minnesota’s wild turkey hunt opened up yesterday.
Took the rest of the week off, for the hunt.
No bird yet... but I did find this knife, and a couple tips in the creek.
Longbeard.. your mine tomorrow. FEDA04B9-757D-4075-BB31-7990289BD496.jpegFB6E3B8C-C9ED-4B6B-A9A1-5613EE9DBAF5.jpeg9F617D3E-300C-4F79-9CD8-D167B43FFC15.jpegB9129100-B4C8-4F4C-A2FC-874F719808DE.jpeg3E05A018-0546-4486-86C2-E5F75A4BDD1C.jpeg339B1471-BC21-4113-A58A-BAAE62E4DCD2.jpeg

Tomorrow if not a beard then I bet a projectile for u.
Hear the turkeys out back almost every day recently.
Good luck

Nice knife! I’ll bet it’s tough to draw in the birds with creek rocks clacking underfoot. :tongue3:

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

...you are living the dream. I like that busted knuckle looking inclusion, it fits right in all those finger sized pieces you’ve been finding.

Sweet looking blade UN. Bet it was made thicker towards the back for a special reason...

I’m left with the thought that somewhere along the line he coulda blasted that stack offa there when the preform was wider, Never know, will we...Nice grab.

Nope... we’ll never know, may have been left intentionally.
To help with the halfting. And to help the maker from slicing his own fingers.
