Detector(s) used
Minelab Etrac
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I went to one of my hunting places and detected in the woods were i found an old dump site.
I picked these right off the top of the ground.
The little green one is Mrs. stweart's bluing.
The clear liqure says Bielzoff 1940 federal law forbids sale or re-use of this bottle.
The brown cork top AA also forbids re-use.has 42 on bottom.
The tall brown bottle has a 9 and a 5 duraglas on the bottom and the clear glass B 47 on bottom. I think these two are beer bottles.

So I finally went back detecting in an area were I had went over a few years back with the DFX and what a surprise to pull a half dollar out of there.

nice half!!, 42 seems to be a common year for the walkers!

still waiting for my first!

Great detail on that walker! Congrats! You got me with the "truck load" of silver! Lol!

Almost to much for the truck to handle. Nice coin!

It sounds like you stumbled across some "ABM" prohibition bottles and the Ms. Stewart's that you have is from the 30's as for the duraglass, that bottle dates no earlier than 1940. If you can remember that location where you found them, I would start digging around, maybe you just stumbled across a bottle dump..you never know

I love old bottles. I started picking them up when I was a kid.

The coin is awesome. Congrats.
