My best buddy, Scruff, decided to head out early yesterday morning
and try some early season mousing. An hour later he came strutting
back into the shop with mouse in mouth. He had tagged out on a true
trophy mouse..:occasion14:

He dropped it right on the napkin I set down, and then wouldn't leave
with his catch till I agreed to take his pic:

No kidding. That's a big mouse

No kidding. That's a big mouse

He and his sis have bagged a few of them in that size
range, but I do believe that's the largest so far. At first
I thought it was a rat, but after closer inspection it
turned out to be mouse.

He was sure proud of himself....8-)

The cat at a barn we board our horse at will drag mice all through the barn. it looks like a crime scene there. I feel bad when he brings in baby rabbits or anything still alive. He will be darting around the barn chasing mice and it will look like Tom And Jerry.

Very funny photo, your cat looks proud.

It might be a large mouse (IS) but it looks like your cat hasn't missed a meal EVER.

Gooood kitty :) Handsome fellow!

Good kitty! I do love a big burly guy. :D:cat:

I believe the mouse committed suicide.....I don't think he could have caught the mouse with three clogged arteries like he must have!

He is a hansom feller though.

you need to get that cat a membership at a fitness center

I reckon the cat was trophy hunting, he sure didn't need to hunt for food.

I used to have a chocolate point Siamese cat a long time ago.

Pretty much the same thing,,, Ole "Ming" would hunt the yard for chipmunks,,rabbits,,,just about anything her size.

Bring it to the sliding door on the deck,,, scream like a banshee to get our attention.

When we "praised" her for her prowess she would then do the "right thing" and eat her catch.

Always beginning with the head,,

When they bring it to us like that ,,, are they offering to share or are they just showing off?

Always wondered that.
