Tenderfoot
In 1975 I went on an adventure to Turks and Caicos islands. I found this spike while diving for food on the west end of grand Turk island. I call it ”The Mystery of the Bronze Spike” because I found it buried in coral rock with a few bronze nails about 4 inches long and no other sign of a wrecked ship. I figure it could only come from something that floated in. People from INA could not identify it. Nor the museum on grand Turk. I am trying trying to date the spike and what the apparent cross on the head means.
