Hi Folks, Well I finally got out again. I have been working a ton so there hasn't been too many opportunities lately. I have been wanting to hit this old public hospital for a while now and finally had my shot today

Ended the day with 2 mercs , 2 wheats and the surprise of the day is a 1907 D Barber dime. Wasn't expecting that figured it was going to be mostly rosies today :)

Congrats. By the wear that Barber was probably dropped in the 40s or 50s

I'd take a trip to the hospital like that anyway, congrats!

Look at all that silver... man you gots to like it. Too bad you didn't get you a Rosie...could have been a Tri-Fecta. Looks like it was still a good hunt.

Shoot, never thought about that, should have stayed longer to find me a Rosie!!

Thanks Mike, Just trying to keep up with you!! Hard thing to do with your awesome hunts lately :)

Good thing you were at the hospital. Those 3 silvers could have sent you to the Emergency room for cardiac issues!

Very well done sir!

Three silvers including a Barber, that's a good day in my book. It's not a 5 Francs kinda day, but still good.

Best of luck to you.

Holy smokes!!! Nice finds :)

Nice silver! Congrats!

I'd call that a great day! Big Congrats. Can you share the settings that you were using without disclosing the detector that you were using? How deep were the coins and was the site very trashy?

Thank you!
The Barber was about 7 inches deep and rang in as a 12/40 On my ctx.. The mercs were 5 or so inches and rang in at 12/45..

I tend to run in combined 4 tone most of the time in ground coin or ferrous coin depending on the sight, and I switch over to conductive sometimes in trashy spots. I also run as much manual sensitivity as the sight will permit.
