LITTLE DIGGER AND I HIT THE OLD CELLAR HOLES TODAY FOR FATHERS DAY, LITTLE DIGGER DUG 2 BEAUTIFUL GOLD GILTED BUTTONS MADE BY BENEDICT & BURNHAM AND 1 RING [WE THOUGHT IT WAS A RING, TILL WE CLEANED IT AND SEEN THE 2 HOLES IN IT] LAST PIC. I DUG 2 MORE LARGE CENTS, 1821 AND A 18?? ALONG WITH 2 FLAT BUTTONS-------AND A OBJECT I NEED OPINIONS ON, I THINK ITS THE END OF A SWORD SCABBARD--ALL OUR FINDS DATE 1758 - 1837 SO IM THINKING THIS MAY BE IN THAT TIME FRAME-----ANY HELP OUT THERE ?--------------PICTURES # 3 & 4 WERE TAKEN AT FRONT OF THE CELLAR HOLE, WHAT A GREAT VEIW THEY HAD 200 YRS AGO !!--------------------THESE BUTTONS MARKED BENEDICT & BURNHAM WERE IN BUSINESS FROM 1834-1843, MADE IN CONN.
