Great finds and a great view! Congrats to both of you.

thats a nice day in my book, good finds, awesome day w/ ur son. Nice work!!

Awesome hunt. That copper looking thingy reminds me of the tip off a bellows.

Not a sword scabbard for sure. I agree with the bellows comment. Or it could be a piece from a brass bed, lamp, or similar.

Nice finds. LOVE the gilded button!

Great finds guys! Love those buttons and old coppers are always fun to find.

Very impressive finds and I must confess, I am a little jealous.

Not of the finds but seeing the wonderful, youthful, exuberance in the one picture makes me sorry I've even attempted to grow up. Now, I pause, take a moment to say thanks for letting me find something. Then, I carefully place it in my pouch and carry on to the next one.

While all the while, on the inside? This is happening:

What a WONDERFUL picture! Worth more than all the finds!

HH!

Really a nice job guys. You're lucky the farmer lets you dig in the field with the crop coming up. That would never happen down this way.

MY COUSINS 500 ACRE FARM, THATS THE ONLY REASON, THAT AND WE PULL ALOT OF SQUARE NAILS OUT --LESS FLATS ON HIS MACHINERY---NO CORN IS HARMED-----HAPPY HUNTING

WHADIFIND, VERY NICELY SAID AND I AGREE WITH YOU 100%---LITTLE DIGGER GETS PRETTY EXCITED, IM GLAD I WAS CLOSE ENOUGH TO HIM WHEN HE FOUND IT , TO CAPTURE THE MOMENT ON FILM----THANK YOU & HH

Nice finds by the little guy. Every time my son and I go detecting together I reflect on how very special that time is.

Memories for a lifetime digging440years! Super nice gilded buttons would love them in my display case any day! I'm sorry I wasn't
a diggin'man when my kids were younger.

Congrats on the large cents, and that Benedict & Burnham flower button is beautiful!

Reminds me of one I dug once.
