It looks like it says TRINDL PRODUCTS. It has threading on the inside. Any ideas?

Trindl made arc welders .. wonder if it is a part to that?

Yup, out of Chicago. They made welders up into the '50's that I know about. They also made a pipe sweater/thawer machine too. Maybe an attachment for one or them?
