These were found at the fantastic Penn Dixie location just outside of Buffalo NY

When I was in 3rd or 4th grade my cousin and I hiked to some railroad tracks near our houses. They had just put new ballast on the ties. There were trilobites everywhere. Thousands of them. Neither one of us knew what they were. I only took one and ended up giving it to my teacher. I was young and dumb and that would have been a major score. I walked those tracks again yrs later and couldn’t find any.
