Hi, I am new to this forum but have been fossil hunting awhile. Picked this little rock up at outcrop few miles from my home in SW Wisconsin. As far as I can tell is Ceraurus Globulobatus head. Have been having my cub scouts try to identify and this is as close as we could find. We are not experts, so would like some help. We won't be going back to site til it gets cold do to the fact that we came across a grumpy Rattlesnake. No bites, but not a place for eight year olds either. thanks

Well, it's definitely a Ceraurus, but due the incompleteness a species assignment would be iffy.
However, if the area only carries globulobatus, you could get away with IDing it as C. globulobatus.
