Good afternoon fellow treasure hunters. Just thought I would post my finds from Sunday's hunt. I bought a new 10.5 inch deep scan coil for my 1225X and headed back to the old school and abandoned park with my dad, uncle and brother to try it out. I was very pleased. At the school, I managed 5 wheats, an 1879 IH and a 44s merc that were really deep. I am convinced that we missed them before because of the depth. I also found a really cool button that I believe is old. Any info would be appreciated. My brother also found a nice keeper there, but I'll let him share it with you guys. Then at the old park, I dug 3 more IH's(1884, 1898, 1900), a 1915 D wheatie, an old copper or brass men's wedding band, a little 10k women's ring and the back of an old pocket watch that is marked sterling. It almost gave me a heart attack when I dug it up. I thought I had a silver dollar. Maybe next time. My uncle and brother found some keepers here as well, but I will let them share. My dad found a really nice 1909 V nickel. Thanks for looking guys! Happy hunting!
