Hi all . Today i went back out to the first claim of cornish miners Richard Oates and John Deeson but had little luck. So i headed over to a hard rock line that was known as Victory & Pandora 1851-1925
Main shaft was 2460 feet plus winse to 2855 feet. The mine had a cornish lift pump ,large pair 24 ins.diam. cylinder winding engines and 30 head crushing battery. Yeild of gold 89,000 ozs and paid 353,000 pounds sterling in dividends to share holders.

Worked the site for about 4 hours after the heat of the day was gone. Plenty of lead like different small shapes no idea what they were used for. A the end of the mine claim near what was a water baling shaft i found a 1924 sixpence and not far away this copper. Half-penny KG # "i think" Any thoughts are welcome. bale tank chain linkage and a rock splitting chisel. The gold and specie where found in the past few days within 50 yards . 2 quartz saddle reefs only 50 yards apart but 9 miles long.
here afew pics of today hunt . I believe i have finished this site and haven,t give a thought to where next.yet again might be a week as the the full heat of summer is upon me .Friday 100 and then hot
