Finally got to detect a civil war site. Detected the area an old farm of the 1st days battle and found 2 horseshoes: 1 belonging to a plow horse, but the other the type a calvary horse would wear, 2 fragments from an artillery shellsl, some kind of harness buckle from a horse, and my 1st ciivil war bullet. WooHooo

when I get home I will send a pic

here's the pics they include the 2 horse shoes, the harness buckle thingie, a plow point upper right, and lower right THE bullet, it is a bit banged up from hitting the ground and next to it is what I believe to be a piece of shrapnel, the other piece is tiny And in the trird pic is also one of our pugs, Mordy's head. They helped arrange the finds for viewing. Looks like I need to divide the pics up.

I found an old pair of toe nail clippers today..no one was impressed lol
