Ok they're called squirrels.
17 at the feeder this morning.
Looks like a spring special, event.

That's a lot of squirrels!

Tree Rats. That's funny. My Dad always said "they're just rats with bushy tails".
 

Talking to a fellow out on the bay awhile back. He was ice fishing and his 2 young boys really loved eating squirrels.

Now that's really home grown.

I have ate many of them over the years.
 

That must be quite an acrobatic show at times. We have about 5 and I love to watch them play/work.

This past year and now seems to be the cycle of the local population. They do get entertaining at the chasing.
The Reds and Chipmunks cause more damage to structures though.
 

I have ate many of them over the years.
It has been many years since I had one. It was a bigger thing growing up in the mountains out west.
