I found my first peace dollar for free. It
stuck inside the coin machine waiting for
my rescue. I also found three rabbit
Canadian nickels, which are very hard
to come by. Last year I bought $90
of Canadian nickels just to look for these
rabbits but to no avail. Today I found them
stuck on the magnet inside the
machine and accompanied with
two colorful Canadian quarters. Yeah!

Man u sure can find em! That Peace dollar looks in pretty nice condition too, esp for a Peace dollar. I found my first Peace dollar last December - a very slick 1922. Mine cost me $1, but Im sure not complaining lol.

Congrats on more great finds, and this time for free, cant beat that! That's definitely trash treasure!

Exactly!
I brought chocolates to this branch and sweetened the relationship already. So the tellers allow me the examine their rejects and always open up the machine for me. More chocolate next visit.

The trash can next to one of my coin machines is defiantly worth checking. The coin return is often blocked by bags and when they change them, they throw away the reject coins. The peace dollar is an amazing find and I keep all pre 82 Canadian nickels. They are generally pure nickel, with the exception of war years. Never found a rabbit though. Great finds!

Cool finds! Does the Peace dollar have an S mint mark? The 24-S is worth about 2x the 24 in that grade. I haven't found any silver $s yet either.
