I rarely go to garage sales, but on the way to home depot this morning I made a U-turn because I saw a sign. There were a couple of paintings there that I glanced at, then left. They weren't priced and were all dirty. But I remembered the threads here about paintings by named artists and the values!
The paintings were high quality, so I made a note of the name and then googled it in the car. Santa Duran. She painted San Antonio and TX hill country. I could not get back there fast enough. Paid $3 each for these two. Does anyone have a subscription of auction results they can help me out with? I can find a couple around $800 - $1200 but there's evidently a lot more. I am not sure of the best way to sell them.
