I'll start with my mere $20.30

Also, you international folks can participate too! Just convert your currency to American dollars.

Glad you got this started here Noah!

Hope there many who participate!

Noah,

Out very little this year so probably comparable to you $20/$25 range. My best years I'd manage $400/$500 but my regular sites are well picked over.

Hi Noah,
Unfortunately I only hunt farm fields and pioneer homesteads, so I may have only found a half dozen pennies. :icon_scratch:
Now, if you were to include US Indian Head Pennies, Canadian Large Cents and Halfpenny Tokens I probably found .60 cents. :laughing7:

I had a decent haul with 28.52 Euros which converts to $34.79 USD. Much less than last year but I've started to hunt older sites so I can't really complain.

Ok, here's what we've got so far... $20.30 + $34.79 + $0.60 + ~$20 = ~$75.69

I'm honestly pretty surprised at the amount I found considering most of my time is also spent in the fields. I did hunt 1860s-1900s houses over the summer which had a bunch of clad... and of course I brought my detector along when we went camping as well, lots of clad in the state forest I guess.

Three quarters , two dimes and three pennies for a total of 98 cents in clad. and one crusty Indian head penny all found deep in the woods .

I don’t have many older spots to detect. I do find some older goodies, but most of my finds are modern trash and clad so my total for 2020 is $1288.50 not including the $31 in bills I found in the water and $2.67 in silver, Indians, and a couple of large cents.

$76.67 + $1288.50 = $1365.17

That's a ton of clad!

WOW! Awesome clad haul!!

Since I got into bottles & jars I haven't turned a detector on in over a year.

I'm surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains and abandoned homesteads. Last week I found a broken oil lamp - no idea how old it is, but the glass, while broken is reparable, and I'll get getting to that - and it will certainly be displayed!

Now I can't find my camera :(

WOW! Awesome clad haul!!

A big part of the clad haul came from the Boy Scout camp. I did a quick check of the logs and in 2020 I found 9,830 coins with a face value of $874.16 at the camp. Thanks for you nice comments, stay safe and may 2021 be better for everyone.

TntHunter,

$1288.50 - DAMN!!!! You definitely take the prize of finding the most spendable cash, great job. I can only imagine how your back must feel after having to bend over and dug all of those targets. Good luck with your hunts. Walt

I hit a total of $66.88 for 2020 in clad.
That included-
147 Quarters
189 Dimes
120 Nickels
523 Pennies
111 ate up Zincolns that weren't counted & trashed.

TNT Hunter,
I bet the end of your shovel is like a butter knife after that much clad. Great Job!
