Treasuremaster P I 1000

I have an Treasuremaster PI 1000 that I don't know a lot about. I have the manual but I would like to know how much it cost ,when made, was it any good? I picked it up at a sale ( auction ) and have only used it a little. Seems to work fine so I just want to know a little history on it and can't find any at Whites. Any help will be appreciated, thanks
