"Treasure" Volunteer
Description:
Help visitors explore the history of treasures and treasure hunting - from sunken under water treasure, buried treasure, gold rushes, treasures in attics, treasure stories to a modern treasure hunt using maps, compasses, landmarks, as well as metal detectors. You and guests can pan for gold, use a global positioning system, or try cracking a safe. Volunteers must attend one of two training sessions scheduled: Wednesday, May 21 from 6-9 p.m. or Thursday, May 22 from 9 a.m. - 12 noon.
