Any ideas on what this could stand for?

Thanks Baker

What is the context? Where did you see it? What was it on? Carved, stamped, printed? More info would help, but it looks like a top. (See? Context is important.)

The symbol is on a lead medallion that was buried under ground 12" or so, right in front of a turtle made of stone. Its placement is in the position it is posted in the picture. Thanks for your input,

If everyone used the same marks to signify the same things they wouldn't be much of a secret sign. Only the designer and a few cohorts would know what it ment. If anything.

"Muffin in this direction."

Did you mark the direction it was pointing before you moved it ? the round part is the turtle. Its pointing to the next clue. One by land, two by sea. three to get ready and four to go.

symbol on map #3.jpg

The piece was in a container. The map that contains the symbol is directional in it's self. This is a picture of the original symbol. Do you still think it is the turtle?

This smells like a bogus post
the picture of the original symbol is drawn on lined paper, see the blue horizontal line in the pic

Drawn on blue-lined ruled writing paper?

I told you it was a picture of the symbol....get it?? I drew a picture on paper to avoid putting the map on the web. You have to understand that this little piece is about 2"x 3" and contains a lot of symbols. There is Know way to isolate one for viewing by the general public.
Thanks, Baker

I understand now this is a picture of a drawing based on a symbol found on something else. But what leads you to believe it has anything at all to do with "treasure"?

If you find something valuable be sure to draw us a picture so we know you met success.
