All Treasure Hunting
Don’t want to offend.

Let’s put it differently.
In one of the newly released surveillance videos (NBC News Now) concerning Floyd (showing him fairly calmly sitting against the wall), it appears something fell out of his hands while handcuffed against the wall (2:59 into video)...later the police officer is seen bending down and picking something up and pocketing it (4:28 into video).

Lost and found, but not my kind of treasure.

I suspect there are items lost many times during these types of encounters...

At the minimum, the police report should contain reference as to what was picked up and pocketed. It has not been mentioned despite 17,000,000 views.
Did something fall out of a pocket or the waistband? What was it?

I realize it doesn’t change what happened, but all the facts will come out during the justice process. This is part of it.

I once read where people use gold bug detectors to find micro jewelry in the cracks in the sidewalk, especially in front of jeweler shops...do I remember that correctly? I remember the person claimed to find ounces a month along with gems.

I’ve found a shady bottle of pills at a construction site. I buried them in the embankment fill. Looked it up on the internet..40-50 of them at $20 a piece.

Lots of sidewalks contain rebar. Use your eyeballs to find treasure on sidewalks.

I eyeballed this 18k chain with blood coral pendant on Fremont Street in Vegas last August.

No, just using his death and giving the thread a treasure title so people click was your plan. It's yours to delete.

It's more damaging to treasurenet, sponsors can pull advertising and some others might move to other sites. Much is changing statues destroyed, gone with the wind pulled, cops canceled, Nascar no rebel flags allowed. Maybe a few bases renamed and I am sure more coming.

OK maybe I was tip toe’ing around the rules by talking about a non-treasure related subject in the General Discussion forum. It was not a personal attack on any members and it was not political and not religious related.

I can’t delete the post. A moderator will have to do which I’m sure will happen soon.

Do you wonder what the officer found and pocketed? I do. I also bet you never noticed.
I also wonder what was apparently dropped and if it was recovered later.

Really has very little to do with the ripple affects.
I’m not about to get into a debate about other things that are going on around the country. Keep my opinions to myself either way as far as that is concerned.

I know this is an emotional subject for you and I apologize again for offending you.

Does it matter? Plently of tainted versions out there to justify murder.

It absolutely does matter. Please don’t insinuate I’m am using this to justify anything. That is another attack on me personally and I don’t care for it.

Recently George and Derek’s employer (at the night club) stated that she didn’t want to complain to the police about Derek’s poor behavior at the night club, because he was “one of the good ones” and she felt she would only get a more corrupt cop as a security guard if she messed up having Derek working for her. Almost as if all the cops in that city were corrupt in her opinion.

The likelihood of drugs being dropped are honestly very high given the toxicology results. I don’t think that can be debated.

If one of the cops, who were later arrested, pocketed something that was not turned over as evidence or mentioned in the police report it could indicate corruption, which would be pertinent to the justice trial, would it not?

If you study Alexander's body language prior to pocketing whatever it was..it's suspicious.
He looks over his shoulder to the left..he rubs his fingers together in anticipation, start to bend down to pick it up, then stops and looks over his right shoulder..rubs his fingers again in anticipation..then stoops down to get a better look...appears to ask George something as he points to it, then quickly grabs it and quickly puts it in his pocket. Things immediately start to get rough and George gets agitated.

It appears to be what sets off the ensuing struggle.

The more I look at that video...another possibility is that Alexander threw that white object down.
He does kind of bend down right as the white object kind of skips out from that direction. His left hand is out of the frame. He stands back upright immediately after the white object appears.

Maybe that's why George got agitated immediately after Alexander points to that object and pockets it.

Something is weird about this interaction.
Maybe it's just me.

As a kid did you make ice cream with a flipped over bicycle?

Tiredman, The personal comments I made towards you earlier in a different thread were truly heartfelt.

Let’s just delete this thread (mods) and move on, I honestly do not wish to wage a war of words with you that is really unnecessary and unfounded. Not that I don’t think the video is important to real justice, but I don’t want to engage in this type of discussion with you.

Please do not read more into this than necessary.
