Nice necklace nab. Silver is always good.

Way to go Duane! Like that necklace! Hope those wheats have been hanging around with some old silver...they want you to go back and find their friends.

Wow, were those halves a spill or found all seperate? Very nice!
Actually, I found those halves at the bank, cost me 50 cents ea., and I've found about 250 this year so far, along with Barber halves, Walking Liberty, Franklin and '64 Kennedys. AMC

Nice finds AMC, I tried my hand at that roll hunting and got the big Goose egg ....0.... and the necklace was a little gravy on those Kennedy's. I hope you and everbody else is finding ground thats not as dang dry and hard as it is here, like diggin in concrete for my finds. Lets all pray for some rain to loosin the ground and make our signals shoot a little deeper!

Thanks Jack. I've learned to dig the iffy signals with my DFX, then i get the older ones. Thanks to some experience i've gained (thanx Jim C.) i'm starting to find deeper coins by digging repeatable deep signals. My detecter seems more stable in dry ground, but the digging is more difficult.
Those bank finds don't come easy. You gotta stay at it because it has it's ups and downs. Now that the price of silver is dropping like a rock, I feel less inclined to search coin.
Good luck with that Explorer, you haven't had it that long. That is some detecter from what I've seen. Good luck to all AMC

My wife works nights at a local McDonald's restaurant. She is always bringing me silver coins and wheat pennies. They are still out there if you look.

Very nice necklace.

I saw on the history channel today, that the average coin is in circulation for 30 years.
Sounds good to me. I'd rather dig em up, but those are very Sweet!

Good luck,
HH.

I work the counter at the post office, and come across old coins regularly. Its definatley a perk, find silver dimes and quarters, buffalo nickels, wheaties all the time, one v nickel. The lady I work next to sometime received 2 of the new silver walking liberty dollar coins as payment for some stamps :icon_scratch: hard to believe someone would spend those at face value. HH
