Treasure hunting apps

The best app I've found is the treasure net phone app. It answers questions, identity's your finds, values relics. It can put you in touch with local hunters and clubs. Can be used in the feild and is very addicting. And when all your buddys are pissed because you find the good stuff it gives you someone to talk to. Welcome aboard.

I recently installed that on my tab- the only problem I have is I have to be online to use it and where Im panning and searching I don't get coverage anywhere near there. I have been building up a small collection of material on my tab before next trip. Anyone know of any historic map apps? Ive been searching this last 2 weeks with not much luck.

Here is a good one for aerial photos. Viewer Also, select "Forum" at the top left of this page and go to the next to bottom forum which has the states forums which all include an Old Maps sub forum. Lot of good ideas there. HH

There is a metal detector app !

For detecting on the field? Ive seen one that records your route and then shows areas you haven't searched. Or are you talking about a app that detects metal with the phones magnetometer?

Im looking for apps that could be useful on the field, I have lots of detectors already ;)

I like the one that puts it in "airport" mode so it's not constantly seeking a signal and messing up my detector with little blips.
