Treasure Hunting apps. Got any ideas?

So do ya'll have any ideas for a 2D IOS Treasure Hunting game that I could make? I have recently started making IOS apps and I am thinking about making maybe something somewhere along the lines of a metal detecting game. Or maybe gold panning. Still undecided.
Now these wouldn't be any big games. Just short simple ones. They would all be free in the app store.

I kinda play to many games now. However on the app idea. You could setup different regions/levels to unlock. Be it worldwide or small location in southwest usa or maybe the outback? Maybe set in western cowboys/indians times or spanish time of even farther back. Thieves could add a level of challenge also. Not sure how simple or complex the objective you want. I'm sure no matter how hard or easy there will be those that love and those that hate it. After all look at flappy bird.
