Jeesh obviously too much Beavis and Butthead and Spinal Tap for me. I read the whole story twice and don't remember anything about treasure. Almost every phrase in the story is distracting, racist or innuendo by today's standards. I think I will read it again!

Get yourself a Coffee ! Maybe 2 :coffee2::coffee2:

First off I read about Treasure Through out the whole Post.
yes they speculated that the stories were fake and for ulterior motives.
Skeptics & Nay-Sayers do that, when they don't believe in Treasure, Or are Jealous .

and I read Nothing that was racist. imo.

This article was written in 1928 when Freedom of speech meant something.
Words were not considered Racist , I Don't think Cry-Babies & Anti-constitutionalists were invented till
somewhere in the late 60's :dontknow:

"today's Standards" isn't it sad :unhappysmiley:

Yes I agree the article was written clearly, concisely, without a hint of racism, dirty jokes or bad motives, but my corrupted brain turned everything into nonsense. I am the only problem. Interesting story but it just made me feel sorta sad and nostalgic thinking back to that time. Would I give up the internet and all of out modern conveniences to go back to that time? Maybe. For sure if I could memorize a simple BFO diagram and be the first to have the edge on all these treasure stories.
