Treasure Anthology: Stories of Lost Mines & Buried Treasures . . . From the Conquistadores, Frontier America & the Plantation South, Vol. 1
by E.S. LeGaye
21 treasure tales around the US and one story of Spanish treasure lost on the Silver Bank Shoals off of the Dominican Republic.
What I like about this book is that each story includes location map and a copy of what appears to be his index card filing system. Before the common use of the personal computer, index cards were one of the ways to help organize research information. The story number on the card probably refers to additional information stored file cabinets.
