Thanks for the pic. I just returned from Afghanistan a few months ago. I lived with the military for 2 years in Khost province, working as a police advisor. Always looking for news from that area. Thanks again!!

That's cool, they look like the rocks. :icon_scratch: 8) but that's no hole from a lol, :D implosion or explosion they dug that hole. They are looking for coins or jewelry. I bet jewelry if they are in Iran or Iraq maybe Saddam's Gold.

Thanks for your post. Is that your detector or one issued by the military? Glad to see the Ace 250 in action and supporting the troops.

You can buy the Ace 250 and other machines through AFEES on line tax free at a pretty good price if you are present or retired Military or a dependant. I looked a them already on there and was thinking about getting one for my son.

I always said the 101st are a bunch of smart guys. I'll tell you what that ACE looks a lot
lighter than the old Army metal detectors that took two men and a boy to carry.

Hey Tom,

I was in Iraq in 04 and 05 Training their cops as well, maybe we ran across one another... I am considering going back but think I will enjoy one summer in the states before I do, 4 years gone, it's time for a small break... stay safe

Joe

I'm glad they found that one before it did any damage. Thanks for remind us that metal detectors can do more than just find burried treasure, they can also save lives.
