I'm on the far left. The other 2 are my journalist friends from Paris (we met at a convent in Old City Jerusalem)...But here, we're partying.

hey rsc, yes I do take my MD when possible!

The last adventure was to New Mexico...I shipped it ahead of me and have to say it was one of the best trips I've taken in a LONG time!

And thanks for the welcome...I'll post what I find and/or have found. My MD has been in the shop for repairs...but is kickin' now!

felinepeachy...Hi, and ya know I spent too much time that day in the desert. My friends went to see the Chagall windows, the gal slipped (IN the hospital) and tore up her ankle...was on crutches. I wheeled her out of the bar on a luggage cart. That was her last night so we HAD to celebrate!

Falcon: Tequilla shooters always get cha where ya need to be...Hogged up in the Holy Land.

Welcome to TN Vibe. Great photo.
Hoosiers are always welcome. Especially the ones from Northern Indiana.
I am from LaPorte originally and get up that way at least once a year. LP will always be "home".
Lots of old places to detect in the LP area. I was drooling when I was up there last week.

Oh, so you're a displaced Hoosier? And I gotta ask...are you a ND fan?

This IS a great place to detect, but less than stellar for rock hounding

I'm trying to get permission to detect an old train station (it's a retreat now thus privately owned)...took me forever to find it! It's south and east of here. I do need to expand my hunt areas...it's like I'm on a tether that's 20 miles long...ha.
