Detector(s) used
Fisher 1212-X
Went detecting today since it was in the 40's. All the snow was melted and it was very muddy. I forgot my shovel to and only had my knife to dig with. I went to a site that used to be a small town back in the 1800's. I really didn't find anything good though, I think I was looking in the wrong places. As soon as I turned my detector on I got a hit and dug up a coin. I was all excited because I never found an old coin. Only it turns out I still didn't. It was a 1991 penny! I couldn't believe it. I also found lots of bottle tops, cans, pull tabs, and foil. I found a bullet which was cool. It isn't to old I don't think but I was still happy with it. Other than that it was mostly rusty spikes and nails. Tons of foil and cans though. My main problem was that I couldn't dig fast with my knife so I wasted alot of time digging. Next time I'll have my shovel and disc. set a bit higher.

That site sounds good. I'm sure you will pull some nice coins from there if you keep at it 8)
