Trash, trade, decoration?

I know these are shells.
A clam, oyster(?), mussel (?), and conch.

I dug them out of my yard, about 4" down while pulling out some rebar my detector beeped on. I was smoothing out the area I took the 7 pieces of rebar out of the ground and found them the the space between protruding trunk roots.

Anyway to tell if I found a trash pit, previous owners decorations, or what?

To find out if you've got a trash pit, invoke shovel, and dig down and around. Are you seeing ash?

No ash. Just that fine Florida sand under the layer of roots and compost.

It may just be me, but I don't believe photos of your shells, or patio furniture showed up.

The "green rock" under my shells is the remains of some copper sheet.

Sorry to disappoint you, but that is my patio furniture and I did find those shells in my yard.

What's so hard to believe?
