While detecting on private property a few years ago in New Mexico I had the opportunity to look for hidden saddlebags full of gold coins from a holdup in Albuquerque. The land owner took me on horseback right to the area where the robber was hanged. Quick old west justice! I rode my ATV in a few days later and camped out for 5 days. I was still looking when I left!!
