forget it, A 150 + year old cache of paper money, it wont be found. almost all of the legends that talk of gold and silver coins are false, the several huge robberies only netted paper currency. I was hot on this one until I hit the history room of our local library.. there is a book printed only a few years after these incidents that sheds some lite on this period and also gives a discription of the stolen properties. The money is there alright but you would have to get lucky enough to go over it with gpr or something. great story though.
