Good afternoon all. I had a great morning bouncing around from estate sale to estate sale here in sunny So Cal, and this item was one of my finds. It is a two-inch long gold toned tie clip with a a black button depicting a train engine along with some asian writing that I am unable to decipher. There are no markings of any kind on the backside. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you and happy hunting!

it is written in hiragana and says yo-ko-ha-ma...the city of Yokohama....in Japan

Thank you sir! I was hoping the tie clip had more meaning to it, such as commemorating something or referencing a specific train line, because I know railroad memorabilia sells well, but a generic Yokohama tie clip will have to suffice! Thanks again.
