✅ SOLVED Tractor seat?

Among my many iron implements recovered at a Missouri farm is the circular object in question. Slightly concave and approx. 1' in diameter. Is this a tractor seat?

Looks like the grate out of a round coal stove.

Definitely not a tractor seat, I agree on the stove grate, there are a couple of other wood/coal stove parts in your picture.

Yes, it would appear that a horse smashed apart a stove and a sewing machine, first using a hammer until that broke, then switched to a window weight. He lost a shoe in the process.
